i hope him and Bill Graham made peace after Bonham and his gang beat down an employee of Bill Graham's. Yes, may he rest in peace, peace at last.

That said, he was the 3rd best rock drummer, after Keith Moon and Ginger Baker

no 1 was cozy powell. he covered much wider ground > jeff beck group, rainbow, whitesnake, black sabbath etc....

Bonham was involved too. Apparently could be mr hyde drunk. Grahm def made up with Plant and Page esp Plant. Theres a great interview about it on sugarmegs

I bought the remastered DVD of Song Remains The Same a couple weeks ago and have watched it and the Led Zeppelin DVD, and have been listening to Live at the BBC in the car. Think I'll watch S.R.T.S. again today. Funny thing, I had forgotten about this date, but they've been on my mind as a band a lot lately. May he never be forgotten.
